Philippines EB-3 Visa Will Become Current in July

Excellent news for Filipino nurses! Charlie Oppenheim of the U.S. Department of State has announced that the EB-3 category for Filipino nurses and other professionals will become current in July 2019 and will stay current all summer long.

During the past couple of years, the waiting time for EB-3 has shrunk from 7 years to 7 months. Now, in July 2019, EB-3 Philippines will be “current” meaning no waiting time at all.

This news is especially good for registered nurses since healthcare employers in the U.S. can sponsor RNs for green cards without the necessity of advertising the job and going through the months-long PERM process. However, it is required that nurses pass the NCLEX examination and obtain a VisaScreen Certificate being able to immigrate to the U.S.

Other Filipino professionals will benefit from this news including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Clinical Lab Technologists and more. If you are a nurse interested in working in the United States, please email your resume to WorldWide HealthStaff Solutions.
