2020 – The Year of Direct Hire Nurse Domination

2020 - The Year of Direct Hire Nurse Domination

2020 could very well be the year of direct hire nurse domination.

If there was only one thing for international nurses to take away from 2019, it was being reminded time and time again that all job offers are not created equal.

Many nurse applicants who had staffing agency and travel nurse companies file their petitions in 2019 were disappointed when USCIS denied their petitions, sometimes twice and even three times. While the basis for USCIS issuing these denials may be debatable, the reality is hundreds if not thousands of petitions were denied.

On the other hand, petitions filed for direct hire, permanent positions continued to be routinely approved, most times without even an RFE (request for evidence) being issued.
